-------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe that usually, when you’re speaking with somebody, looking at her face, you don’t realize that that face is all she needs to sort of gather you together. He ears, on both sides, to hear you twice. Her nose, to better smell you with. Her eyes, to better see you with – not once, but twice. Her mouth, to taste you…once.
The composition of her face, in particular, was capable of making you feel observed in every one of these senses more than any other I’ve seen. Face her and face your fear.
